Med Daft Punk, Boysnoize, Mr. Oizo, Justice og Aphex Twin som inspirasjonskilder har Andreas Mosling og Paal Neshagen utviklet seg gradvis i jungelen av utstyr, software og sequencer program. Artistnavnet Miami Device oppstod med en tilfeldighet sammen med noen kompiser i de sene nattetimer. Etter å ha gjort Sjona i 2010 samt en del lokale eventer har mange sperret opp øyne og ører utover hjembyen. Gjorde furore so avsluttere på Lairoscena på Parken 2014 og med ett har det begynt å ulme.
